How to win

To be a contest winner, you must complete any variation of the puzzle with the least number of possible moves. Although the least number of moves will vary depending on the starting position of the tiles, we have developed a formula that calculates the minimum number of moves to solve any given tile arrangement. Therefore, in order to be eligible for your iPod, you must complete the puzzle with the specified least number of moves. In the event of a tie, the winner of the two would be the player with the lowest time. When the puzzle is completed, the game will inform you about the number of moves you made, the lowest number of moves that was possible, and the time it took you to complete it.

Prizes

Each month the top results are posted automatically from PDAs across the country and if you're #1, you've won yourself that free iPod. Winners of the Puzzle of 8 receive an iPod Shuffle, winners of the Puzzle of 15 receive an Ipod Nano and winners of the Puzzle of 24 receive an iPod Video. Employees and family members of Moon Valley Software are not eligible.
Eligible contestants must provide a valid email address accompanied by ones legal First and Last name when posting a high score. High score posts with an invalid email address or false name will be disqualified.
Altered game results "hacking" a score will be disqualified.
Eligible contestants who provide a valid email address with bona fide game results must provide a valid mailing address to receive a game prize.
Winning contestants are ineligible for additional prizes for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of their winning game score.
No purchase is necessary to become a contestant or be a prize winner.
Contest is void where prohibited by law.
